Single-skin aluminium sheet, anodised and powder-coated facades — premium and long-lasting.

Aluminium Cladding

What Is Aluminium Cladding?

Unlike composite panels, aluminium cladding is the use of a single-skin pure aluminium sheet for facade cladding. The standard thickness ranges between 2 and 4 mm; because it is thicker, it is more rigid, more durable and has a more premium appearance than composite. For surface finishing, anodising (anodic coating), powder coating (RAL colour scale) or a brushed finish are preferred. It is a top-segment solution often chosen over composite for banks, holding-company headquarters, luxury hotels and bespoke architectural projects. At Techno Reklam, we apply aluminium cladding to premium commercial and corporate buildings in Iskenderun.

Technical Details

Aluminium cladding uses pure aluminium sheet in 2 mm, 3 mm or 4 mm thicknesses. The most commonly preferred surface treatments are: anodising (anodic coating — a passive oxide layer, matt or glossy), powder coating (RAL scale, durable colour), PVDF (a long-lasting polymer paint with a 20-year warranty) and brushed (a mechanical brush-mark texture). The panels are fixed with a concealed-screw cassette system; the joint gap is 12–18 mm. Single-skin aluminium is 30–40% more expensive than composite, but it is preferred in premium projects for its durability and rigidity. Aluminium is fire-resistant (Class A1), so there is no concern over fire rating.

Areas of Use

The most common applications for aluminium cladding are the facades of bank head offices and large branches, holding-company headquarters and plaza exteriors, 5-star hotel facades, luxury villas and bespoke architectural projects, the facades of museums, art galleries and cultural centres, corporate-identity adaptation for premium office blocks, and flag and totem facades in public spaces. Anodised and brushed surfaces are preferred for a distinctive architectural effect.

Aluminium Cladding in Iskenderun and Hatay

Over the past five years, the rate at which aluminium cladding is chosen for corporate buildings, holding-company headquarters and bespoke architectural villas in Iskenderun has risen markedly. It is regarded as the long-lasting version of the premium look. The salty-humidity conditions along the coastal strip turn the protected surface of anodised aluminium into an advantage; thanks to its passive oxide layer, this surface is naturally protected against corrosion. On several of our corporate facade applications in the port district, our 15-year reference still looks as good as on the first day.

Why Techno Reklam?

Aluminium cladding is a premium solution with high material and labour costs; with poor application, the investment goes to waste. In our workshop, all aluminium sheets arrive with the manufacturer's factory certificate; the surface treatment (anodising/powder coating/PVDF) is documented. On site, we apply the cassette system with concealed screws; no screw head is visible on the surface. On all projects we provide a 20-year PVDF and 15-year anodised colour warranty.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

We have compiled the questions our customers ask most often.

Composite is 0.4 mm aluminium + a plastic core; aluminium cladding is 2–4 mm single-skin pure aluminium. Aluminium is more rigid, longer-lasting and more expensive.

It is the process of forming a passive oxide layer on the surface of the aluminium; it provides protection against corrosion and scratching and gives a matt or glossy appearance.

PVDF is a polymer-based high-durability paint — with a 20-year warranty. Powder coating offers a wide range of colours on the RAL scale — with a 10–15 year warranty.

A fine, linear texture created by mechanically brushing the surface — it gives an industrial and modern appearance.

Aluminium has Class A1 fire resistance; it does not ignite and does not support combustion. Ideal for public buildings.
