Iskenderun Acrylic Cladding
Clear, coloured and mirrored acrylic panel applications — for storefronts, interiors and decoration.
What Is Acrylic Cladding?
Acrylic (plexiglass) cladding is the use of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) panel for decorative surface cladding. It is a material that looks like glass but is lighter and harder to break; with 92% light transmittance, it is even higher than glass. It offers a wide variety of colours and textures: clear, matt, coloured, mirrored, opaque and frosted options are available. It has limited use for facade cladding, but it is a preferred material for decorative interiors, storefront design and bespoke advertising panels. At Techno Reklam, we apply acrylic cladding in Iskenderun for cafe interiors, store storefront back panels, restaurant interior decor, office booth partitions and bespoke brand compositions.
Technical Details
Acrylic panel is produced in a wide range of thicknesses, from 1.5 mm up to 25 mm; for cladding applications, the most common use is between 3 and 8 mm. The colour options available are clear, opaque (single colour), mirrored, matt and frosted. As surface treatments, CNC cutting, laser engraving, flame polishing, UV printing and LED backlighting can be carried out. LED-backlit acrylic cladding is especially popular in the interior design of bars, restaurants and boutique stores; the LED strip placed behind the acrylic panel illuminates the surface uniformly. Acrylic is 17 times more durable than glass and does not break into sharp pieces on impact.
Areas of Use
Cafe and restaurant interior decoration panels, store storefront back panels, office glass partition covers, lobby and reception back-panel visuals, brand-logo storefront panels (LED-backlit), jewellery and boutique storefront panels, exhibition and museum display glass, and bespoke event decoration are the areas where acrylic cladding is used most intensively. There is limited application for exterior facades; interior and semi-open spaces are mostly preferred.
Acrylic Cladding in Iskenderun and Hatay
Over the past three years, cafe, restaurant and boutique-store owners in Iskenderun have shown intense interest in using acrylic in their interior designs. LED-backlit acrylic brand logos have become the owners' choice because they create a social-media-shareable storefront effect. In the acrylic panel projects we have carried out for the new-generation cafes along Atatürk Boulevard and the coastal strip, both functionality and aesthetics are achieved together.
Why Techno Reklam?
Acrylic cladding is a field with high aesthetic expectations; the smallest scratch or joint error does not go unnoticed. In our workshop, we carry out CNC cutting, laser engraving and flame polishing with our own equipment; this full control maximises quality. In LED-integrated acrylic panels, we use low-voltage LED strips with a dedicated driver, minimising the risk of overheating.
