What Are Advertising Boards?
Advertising boards are the widest-surface form of visual communication and the one perceived from the greatest distance. Technical Details
In board production, the frame is fabricated from steel box profile, and the front face from aluminum composite panel or galvanized sheet. As a printing surface, 510 g/m² block-out vinyl or 3 mm plexiglass is most often preferred. If a lighting option is required, an LED bar system is placed on the upper or lower inner edge of the board. The profile spacing, the number of wall connection points and the foundation volume are calculated according to the board's wind load. The width of a facade board can range between 4–8 meters; on boards of these dimensions an expansion joint is always applied, otherwise the panel ripples due to thermal expansion.

The main application areas are: facade boards for retail stores on city streets, exterior advertising surfaces of shopping malls, billboards beside highways and intercity roads, exterior facade advertising of plazas, event and exhibition boards, and open-air campaign board series. The same board infrastructure can be reused many times for seasonal campaigns by changing only the print; this method lowers the board's investment cost by spreading it across campaigns.
