Iskenderun CNC Cutting Service
Precision CNC router cutting for plexiglass, dibond, MDF, wood and composite panels — contract and retail.
What Is CNC Cutting?
CNC cutting is the process of cutting soft and medium-hardness materials with high precision using a computer-controlled router or milling machine. It is one of the core production methods in the signage, advertising, furniture and decoration sectors. For plexiglass (acrylic), dibond, MDF, wood, plastic panels and low-density metals, it is often a more economical alternative to laser cutting. In the Techno Reklam workshop, our 3-axis CNC router with a 3050x1530 mm table works to ±0.1 mm precision and can cut a standard 305x153 cm plexiglass or composite panel in a single pass.
Technical Details
A CNC router cuts by removing material with a rotating milling bit (cutter). When cutting plexiglass, a 6 mm single-flute bit is used for a single-layer 4 mm panel; this way the surface comes off the cut already polished, with no need for additional flame polishing. For composite panels the V-groove method is preferred; cutting a V-shaped channel into the inner corners makes the panel foldable into the desired form. In MDF and wood cutting, the feed rate of the bit varies between 4,000–18,000 mm/min depending on the hardness of the material. Beyond typical signage applications, in our workshop we produce custom furniture pocketing, letter form cutting, decorative panels, customer-designed bases and advertising stands.
Areas of Use
The most frequently requested applications are letter and logo form cutting in signage production, door and panel preparation in the furniture sector, panel preparation for exhibition stands, in-store advertising stands for retail, customer-specific decorative gift products, and the production of wooden characters, nameplates and door signs. As a contract service, we also do cutting for signage and furniture makers from neighboring provinces.
CNC Cutting in Iskenderun and Hatay
Most signage and furniture companies in Iskenderun do not own a CNC machine; they source the cutting they need from nearby workshops. Our workshop's location close to the organized industrial zone and our experience in contract work give these companies both a cost and a time advantage. Thanks to our same-day delivery option, our signage-maker colleagues can meet the deadlines they promise their customers on urgent jobs.
Why Techno Reklam?
The most important detail in CNC cutting is program precision; if the design file is prepared incorrectly, the result will be flawed no matter how good the machine is. In our workshop, our designers receive .dxf, .ai and .pdf files, check the vector structure and optimize it where necessary. Daily periodic calibration is performed on our machine; this keeps post-cut dimensional error to a minimum.
