What Is Glass Wrapping?

Glass wrapping is the process of covering glass surfaces with digitally printed or cut films. Store windows, office glass partitions, restaurant and café windows, automobile glass, bathroom shower cabins and meeting-room glass are the most frequently treated areas. Correct glass wrapping both increases a brand's visibility and optimizes light transmission, privacy and aesthetic impact. Technical Details

In glass wrapping, the film is selected according to the need. Full-coverage digital print, by covering the entire window, provides a complete visual from the outside in. One-way film has a perforated structure that shows the print from outside while remaining transparent from inside; this feature is preferred in window and vehicle wrapping. Frosted (matte glass) film creates an opaque surface and gives a frosted appearance in meeting-room, bathroom and shower-cabin applications without replacing the natural glass. Cut film (logo + lettering) is prepared by shaping flat vinyl with a plotter; it is the most common method for applying corporate logos and contact information. The application is carried out with the wet method (soapy water); this way, the position can be adjusted until the film settles fully onto the glass.
